Following the reports of human rights violation of the eight persons arrested in connection of Malegaon blasts by Mumbai ATS, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) demanded immediate intervention of the Supreme Court. In a press statement, the VHP said when the eight Hindus, whom the Mumbai ATS has allegedly politically framed in various cases, were presented before the Nasik court on November 17. One of the accused, a retired senior armyman, had to request the court to kindly help stop Human Rights Violation by the ATS. He complained that he was not being allowed to either get any legal help nor to meet his relatives. In front of everyone present, the Court ordered that it was a total Human Rights Violation and all the accused must not be prevented from meeting their lawyers and that it was their Fundamental Right which was getting violated. The court also ordered that the accused must also be allowed to meet their relatives and that the ATS and jail authorities must cooperate in that.
?When, to save the nation, the police or army kill or even arrest anyone in Kashmir, the Government puts the police and army personnel in jail under Human Rights Violations based on the false allegations by the arrested persons or their families. Nobody of Kwaja Yunus has been yet found and the Government has chargesheeted brave policemen in Mumbai for murder just to please Yunus'scommunity. Instead of saluting the brave police Inspector R.C. Sharma who died in Delhi in an encounter, the Government and its allies not only demand judicial enquiry into the daring capture of jehadis by police but also distributed legal aid finance to the jehadis,? the statement said.
The Mumbai ATS being politically motivated even forget that there are other state departments, central government, foreign affairs departments and many other Forensic Labs who have investigated earlier blasts like Samjhauta Express or Hyderabad blasts and have certain conclusions, based on which Government of India had sent proof of Pak hand in those terror blasts. Now the Government of India has to decide if they want to face international shame withdrawing true letter sent to Pakistan just for votes here in India. The same government gives pension to the jehadis and the families of jehadis killed by police and Army in an encounter when those jehadis had attacked India'ssecurity. The same government is not even allowing the accused at Nasik to get legal help which the accused themselves are paying.
?This is not just the Human Rights Violation but also the unconstitutional act of discrimination based on religion under Fundamental rights in the Constitution and the Supreme Court must take action against those who have been doing it vehemently without any fear. Therefore, the VHP as announced earlier, will intensify its agitation all over India supported by saints, retired Armymen and Hindu organisations through Saint Sammelans, rallies and dharnas, hawans, e-mail and SMS campaigns to make India and the world aware of the tyranny meted out to Hindus by various governments to please minorities for votes,? the statement said.
