Paying tribute to noted industrialist Dr K.K. Birla, VHP joint general secretary Shri Champat Rai said he would always be remembered for his great contribution to the nation and the world. As an industrialist, parliamentarian, philanthropist, social reformer and media personality, Dr Birla made a distinctive contribution to the development of the country. Shri Champat Rai further said Dr Birla built so many temples in the country respecting the religious needs of the countrymen. ?VHP prays to the God that his soul may rest in peace and courage be extended to his family members and friends to bear this loss. A resolution was passed to this effect in a meeting held in the VHP central office.
