“Oriya swayamsevaks of Delhi should shoulder the responsibility and concerns of the people of Orissa. Some parts of the state are adversely affected with the naxalite menace while the Vanvasi dominated areas are captured by the Christian missionaries which are converting the innocent Vanvasis,? said Shri Harihar Nanda, national coordinator of Hindu Jagaran Manch. He was addressing a gathering of Oriya swayamsevaks in New Delhi. Shri Nanda, a senior Sangh Pracharak lauded the role of Saraswati Shishu Mandir that performed better than the other schools in recent Matriculation examination in Orissa. Speaking on the occasion, Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Ramesh Prakash appealed to the swayamsevaks to involve themselves wholeheartedly with the Sangh activities in Delhi. Shri Swadeshpal Gupta, coordinator, Dharma Jagaran Samanvya Vibhag of Delhi also spoke on the occasion. Shri Rudra Narayan Pani, MP and Shri Jual Oram, MP Lok Sabha also attended the meeting. Since last six years the swayamsevaks of Orissa Prant are meeting at Hauz Khas Jagannath Mandir, Delhi on second Saturday of every month.
