Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan is trying to take Vanvasis on to the path of development, self-reliance and non-violence.

Acharya Vijay Virendra Suri and Sukhi Parivar movement founder Gani Rajendra Vijay were welcomed in Delhi who led a padyatra from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. BJP president Shri Rajnath Singh welcomed Acharya Suriji. He said Gani Rajendra Vijay is working hard among the Vanvasis and these activities would uplift the social, educational, health and cultural status of Vanvasis. He also said that governments must pay attention to the needs of these people so that they should not suffer from hunger. After food, education is the second utmost necessity.

Shri Rajnath Singh also released a book, A Home in Harmony, written by Gani Rajendra Vijay and the latest issue of Shri Vijay Inder Times magazine.

The meeting was attended by Acharya Vijay Virendra Suri, Gani Rajendra Vijay and a delegate of Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan.

On this occasion Shri Rajendra Vijay said that at present hunger, unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, communal differences and terrorism are the major problems. ?We are trying to solve these problems under the banner of Sukhi Parivar Movement. Today, if we tread the path of truth and non-violence shown by Lord Mahavira, Mahatma Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, we can easily travel half the journey. The nation should be built on these basic principles. We hope the Sukhi Parivar Movement will be able to bring about a cogent change in the lifestyle of Vanvasis,? he added.

Acharya Vijaya Virendra Suri said: ?The philosophy of non-violence (ahimsa) has no meaning without the application of self-discipline. If everyone believes in self-discipline, concurrence and philosophy of co-existence, then only the glorious form of ahimsa will be revealed and the real meaning of ahimsa will be understood by all.?

Shri Lalit Garg, secretary, Sukhi Parivar Foundation presented a shawl to Shri Rajnath Singh. He informed that the foundation was going to build a campus in Kawant, Gujarat, which will have a higher secondary school, a hospital, an old-age home, a child care home and a spiritual centre. Shri Gusai Maharaj, Shri Ashok Garg, Shri Mukesh Aggarwal and Shri Piyush Jain also welcomed Shri Rajnath Singh by presenting him a memento and bouquet.
