A 15-day training camp of Sanskrit Bharati for new vistaraks held recently at Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Lucknow. A total of 50 new vistaraks from 16 Prants participated in the camp. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Shri Dinesh Kamath, all India organising secretary of Sanskrit Bharati. Sanskrit Bharati has been working for the propagation of Sanskrit language for the last 26 years.
According to Shri Kamat, the vistaraks were imparted training in propagation Sanskrit and how to live after becoming full time activists of Sanskrit Bharati. The activists followed strict discipline at the camp. Shri Kamath further said these vistaraks would be sent to different parts of the country to spread Sanskrit. They would also organise ten-day free Sanskrit Sambhashan Shivirs there. He said such camps would be organised in remote areas for all people so that they can develop a confidence in speaking Sanskrit. ?Normally it is believed that Sanskrit is a tough language. There are areas in various parts of the country where a majority of people speak Sanskrit confidently. Sanskrit Bharati has so far organised more than one lakh camps in which about 30 lakh people have learnt speaking Sanskrit. There are about 6,000 families in the country where every member speaks Sanskrit,? he said.
