On the occasion of 150th anniversary of the first struggle for freedom in 1857, the Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP) has organised a march from April 6 to May 13, 2007. The march will pass through Delhi, Meerut and Moirang. The objective of this march is to make the countrymen aware of the threats the country is today facing.
The participants offered their tribute at the Amar Jawan Jyoti on April 6, 2007. Afterwards, they reached Rajghat, Red Fort, Shishganj Gurudwara and Gauri Shankar Mandir, where the people gave them a warm reception.
On April 7, the Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan flagged off the march at Keshav Kunj. (FOC)
