?Shri Guruji had warned the nation against the nefarious designs of China. Today China is expanding its railway lines in the border areas. It is a major threat to the security of the country. On the other hand, Bangladesh has also emerged as a threat to West Bengal and Assam,? said Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, Sahsarkaryavah of the RSS. He was speaking at a Hindu sammelan held at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh recently. Referring to various social evils, prevailing in our society, he lamented that these evils have been developed by the society itself. If we have to make the society harmonious, we have to do away with all the things that are dividing the country. He said untouchability should be removed first. We should also think as to why society is following these wrong notions. He said the foreign forces are taking unfair advantages of these wrong practices. The society must resolve to free itself from the wrong practices like female foeticide, dowry, etc. The society is facing many kinds of onslaughts and we have to combat those forces that are trying to demoralise us. He emphasised that only the Hindu society believes in welfare of all and we should be proud of it. He said the Sangh has been uniting the society for the last 80 years and everybody should support this cause. Himachal Pradesh Prant Pracharak Shri Shrinivas Moorti, Mahant Suryanath and former Chief Minister of the State, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal also addressed the Hindu sammelan. (FOC)
