Swami Nadanand Tirth has been engaged in various social activities for the last more than 30 years. He started village development projects in remote villages of Uttaranchal and also in some other parts of the country. Besides, he formed Srividya Anusandhan Nyas, headquartered at Samalkha in Panipat, which is now one of the major centers in the country involved in research activities of Srichakra, popularly known as Srividya. He has authored a number of books. His latest book?The Science and Essence of Srividya?which incorporates his comprehensive research findings spanning over a period of 16 years. Presented with lucid narration, this 500-page book with multi-colour photographs, describes the experiences of Swamiji. The book was released at Kurnool, Hyderabad, recently. Swami Nadanand Tirth has also been awarded a doctorate degree on this research by Benaras Hindu University.

Besides, Srividya Saparya, a Telugu compilation of earlier works of Swamiji on Srividya and an audio CD on the Nava Avarana Puja of Srividya were also released at the function. Shri T. Srinivasa Rao, a disciple of Swami Nadanand Tirth has been instrumental in publishing this research work.

A number of dignitaries, peethadhipatis, scholars, social and political leaders were also present on the occasion. The speakers lauded the research work done by Swami Nadanand Tirth for the book. Prominent among those included Swami Om Karananda Tirth (Jammu), Swami Jai Ram Das (Gujarat), Sri J. Bhaskar (Madanapally), Sri K.S.K. Maharaj (Hyderabad), Sri Manikyam Somayagi (Hyderabad), Sri K.S.K Maharaj (Hyderabad), Swami Jai Ram Das (Gujarat), Sri Dorbala Prabhakar Sharma (Kovvur), Sri Anand Tirth (Atmakur), Prof. Subramanyam (Kurnool) and Swami Sandranad (Uttarkashi). Sri Gollappudi Maruti Rao, Chennai, presided over the function. Sri Telakappale Vishwanath Sharma, Hyderabad, was the chief guest.
