Shri Ashok Singhal, working president of VHP, visited Adi Badri, the place where River Saraswati emerges on to the plains, on May 4. He was accompanied by Shri Darshanlal Jain, chairman, Saraswati River Research Institute and members of various social organisations. Shri Singhal performed pooja at Saraswati kund and visited the newly constructed Saraswati sarovar. He hoped that the new state government of Haryana would restart construction work started by former Union Minister, Shri Jagmohan, at the sarovar. He also visited the Vedic Garden, Saraswati Museum and Saraswati Darshan Exhibition. After visiting the place he wrote in the visitors? book, ?Adi Badri has sufficient evidence to belie the myth that Aryans came from outside?.
