National Executive of Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat decides
il Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, which met in New Delhi from April 17 to 18, have resolved to launch a countrywide campaign against cold drinks that, according to the Panchayat, are hazardous to health. The campaign to be launched from May 20 to January 2005 will bring about awareness among the people on the harmful effects of cold drinks. The Panchayat also decided to organise a seminar in Nagpur on a modern judicial system. A convention of all active district-level workers will be organised next year during the birth centenary of Shri Guruji. Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Shrikant Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS and guide to the Grahak Panchayat, Bajranglal Gupta, Kshetra Sanghchalak and patron of Grahak Panchayat, Bindu Madhav Joshi, president, Smt. Swati Tai Shahane, vice president, Rajabhau Pophali, secretary, Vivek Saxena, joint secretary and Somnath Kherkar, general secretary, Delhi Grahak Panchayat.(FOC)
