?Vidya Bharati has developed a worthy chain of schools all over the country for imparting value education to the new generation,? said Vijay Kapoor, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. He was inaugurating the new building of Vidya Bharati school-A. M. Saraswati Vidya Mandir-at Lajpat Nagar in New Delhi. He also appreciated the students? art and craft talents on exhibit in the school premises.
The new building of the school is architecturally well designed and is provided with ultra-modern facilities.
The main attraction of the programme was the ?rainbow colours of Bharat developed by school students?. Spicy commentaries by small children Surpiya, Harpreet, Kalka and Sanjay imparted rainbow hues to environment.
Dina Nath Batra, vice-president of Vidya Bharati, appreciated the efforts of tiny hands and emphasised the need for learning-based education. ?A child must be given all opportunities to grow. Every child is an individual and his talent must be explored,? he insisted. Smt. Madhu Ved, principal of the school, proposed a vote of thanks.
