anskrit conversation lessons on DD Bharati Snt> The DD Bharati has started a unique programme in Sanskrit conversation from March 21. It will be telecast by DD India and overseas channels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for half an hour from 8.30 to 9.00 pm. The programme has been sponsored by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. The lessons for the programme have been designed by the Bangalore branch of the Sanskrit Bharati. It is to be noted that the Sanskrit Bharati has been teaching Sanskrit through correspondence for more than 20 years. The response has been tremendous. More than 60,000 people have benefited from this programme. The course has become very popular not only in India, but also abroad. This two-year course has four stages?-pravesha, parichaya, shiksha and kovida. Medium of instructions are English and Kannada only. Each course is of six months duration.
