Sangh Samachar

RSS IT Sangam in Bengaluru
People who don't know about Sangh talk against it-Rajendra K Misra

IN a unique function, thousands of young techie-swayamsevaks from different Corporate-IT industries of Karnataka participated in the RSS IT Sangam held in Bengaluru on February 20. Dressed in RSS uniform over 1,000 techies from Bengaluru and Mysore participated in the full day event. The Sangam was basically convened to commemorate the 10th anniversary of RSS IT Milans.

IT Milans are shakhas attended by IT professionals in Bengaluru and Mysore. The concluding function was attended by RSS National Executive Member Shri Ram Madhav and Shri Rajendra K Misra of Lead India Fame. RSS Karnataka Sah Prant Karyavah Shri N Tippeswamy was also present on the occasion.

Shri Rajendra Misra appreciated the values and the ethics that the RSS carries and said, "In spite of all false allegations and the adverse publicity, the RSS has just not survived but it has thrived. RSS’s affiliated Sewa Bharati is carrying out more than 1.5 lakh service activities and it is always the RSS activists who first help the needy during calamities." He added that it is only the less informed people, who are talking against the RSS.

He pointed out that the present young generation is more patriotic than our generation because it knows that their future depends on the future of India. He elaborated this fact by giving his own example that, in his batch of IIT-Kanpur, more than 90 per cent pass outs went abroad, but this year only 15 per cent went abroad. He blamed the self-declared ‘secular’ parties as ‘more communal and dividers of the society’. He urged the youth to get involved in nation building activities and act unitedly to fight against corruption. He also urged the youth to engage aggressively in forums like ‘Twitter’ and start active movements to improve the society.

Shri Ram Madhav said the RSS is working to create a nation, where there is no hunger, no tears in the eyes of citizens and where people can live with dignity. He added that RSS is creating the individuals for whom the nation is first priority and who are ready to sacrifice everything for the nation. Talking about the role of youth in building India, he said India is the world’s ancient country with at least 5,000 years of heritage and also the youngest country with more than 60 per cent of its population is below the age of 30 years.

Talking about the youth participation in RSS, he said more than 70 per cent of the swayamsevaks are youth and these are the people who are acting as a change agents in the country, without expecting anything in return.
