Rally against corruption by Grahak Panchayat at Jantar Mantar
Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat organised a procession from Ramlila Grounds to Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on April 7 to protest against growing corruption and price rise. After the procession, over 3,000 activists staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar. The demonstration was led by national president Shri Rajabhau Pophali. Addressing the demonstrators he said it is due to the wrong economic policies that the people are suffering in the country.
National general secretary Shri Somnath Khedkar, secretary Shri Arun Deshpande, senior leaders Shri Purushottam Divivedi, Shri Bhagwati Prasad, Shri Charanjit Singh Kalra, Shri Dilip Babuta also addressed the rally. Later, Shri Rajabhau Pophali, Shri Somnath Khedkar, Shri Charanjit Kalra and Shri Bhagwati Prasad presented a memorandum to President of India. (IVSK)
