Declare Premchand?s house a national monument

Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad has strongly ciriticised the Central Government and the Hindi litterateurs who launch agitations in the name of noted Hindu writer Premchand, but do not support the demand for declaring his ancestral house a national monument. The litterateurs of the country have been demanding from the cultural ministry to declare Premchand?s house a national monument, but the ministry has refused to do so. This is being seen by the Hindi world as an insult to the great Hindi writer. They have again urged the government to reconsider its decision.
