Dr Milind Kasbekar and Rekha Dave honoured with Bhaurao Deoras Sewa Samman Sixteenth Bhaurao Deoras Sewa Samman was presented to Dr Milind Kasbekar of Saksham (Nagpur) and Kumari Rekha Dave, joint general secretary of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanya-kumari at a function organised in Smt Brahmadevi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir, Hapur on March 5. The Samman consists of cash prize of Rs 51,000, a shawl, a coconut and a memento. Dr Milind Kasbekar is serving the visually challenged people in Maharashtra through the Saksham while Kumari Rekha Dave is propagating the ideals of Swami Vivekananda in the field of service. The function was presided over noted economist and Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak of RSS Dr Bajrang Lal Gupt. Noted saint Shri Vijay Kaushal Maharaj was the Chief Guest. MP from Jharkhand Shri Nishikant Dube and MP from Hapur Shri Rajendra Agrawal were also present on the occasion. Receiving the Samman Dr Rekha Dave said that the Samman is the honour of the service activities run by the Vivekananda Kendra. Dr Milind Kasbekar said the Saksham is working for making the differently-abled people self-reliant through many projects across the country. Speaking on the occasion Shri Vijay Kaushal Maharaj said one has to abandon the feeling of respect and insult while serving the people. (FOC)
